Our Caring and Specially-Trained Staff

At BIC, we believe in the individuality of every person and nurturing the unique gifts of all. Our staff takes the time to get to know every participant on a personal level in order to provide individualized care and enjoyable activities.

Elder Wing

Our elder wing staff includes a program director, with a Master’s in Public Health and a background in certified nursing assistant. Our team is composed of kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable members who are passionate about and experienced in geriatric and dementia care.

Early Childhood Wing

Our early childhood wing staff includes highly-trained and skilled teachers with degrees in early childhood learning. They are required to receive a minimum of 24 hours of professional development each year and are kind and caring individuals with a desire to work with young children.

BIC welcomes elders who require up to one-person assistance. Whether you or your loved one is dealing with mobility issues, memory issues, health issues, or a lack of socialization opportunities, BIC is the place!

BIC welcomes children ages 6 weeks to 9 years old. You are looking for a caring, intentional and dedicated program where your child is taken care of and benefits from programming meant to prepare them for school. BIC is the place!

Benefits of Attending BIC

The BIC is open from 6:30 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.

Activities, meals and snacks are part of both the children’s and seniors’ wings of The BIC.

In the children’s wing education, community and care are at the heart of all we do. In the senior’s wing enrichment, community and care are at the heart of all we do.

Meals include breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. We strive to supply nutritious, healthy and delicious foods prepared by our chef.

Numerous activities are planned for children and seniors and some of them are designed to be intergenerational. We strive to provide an environment where real friendships built upon mutual respect are built between participants, staff and volunteers.
